Lidiya Welch is Lead Attorney of Goldblum Pollins & Dennis’ Corporate Team. Lidiya assists a variety of companies, including multinational corporations, family businesses, and start-ups, in industries spanning information technology, engineering, and pharmaceuticals, in the hiring and retention of foreign national employees. Lidiya assists with both immigrant and nonimmigrant matters as well as worksite compliance, managing nonimmigrant and immigrant processes for nearly 200 foreign national employees.

Prior to joining Goldblum Pollins & Dennis, Lidiya gained legal experience as a Student Attorney with the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, International Transactions Clinic, and Pediatric Advocacy Clinic in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as well as through her work as a Legal Intern at Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia.

Lidiya holds a bachelor's degree in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. While attending law school, Lidiya served as a Note Editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law. Lidiya is fluent in Russian and Spanish, and conversational in French and Italian.
